U područnom objektu Dječjeg vrtića Bajka bit će smješteno oko 180 djece u 12 odgojnih skupina, od kojih su četiri za djecu s teškoćama u razvoju iz spektra autizma, naglasio je gradonačelnik Milan Bandić na svečanosti u povodu otvorenja objekta na Vrbanima. Također je istaknuo kako Grad već godinama sustavno radi na podizanju odgojnog i obrazovnog standarda.
Dječji vrtić Bajka osnovan je 1932. godine, a ovo je njihov 4. područni vrtić za čije je opremanje utrošeno oko 1.500.000,00 kuna.
Otvaranjem ovog objekta postajemo najveći vrtić u gradu Zagrebu i preuzimamo veliku odgovornost za oko 1000 djece, rekla je ravnateljica Vrtića Vesna Hrvoj istaknuvši kako kontinuirano razvijaju specifične programe kako bi išli u susret roditeljima. Tako su zbog potreba djece s teškoćama u razvoju uveli u rad i terapijskog psa. Posebno smo ponosni što možemo odgovoriti na velike potrebe roditelja s djecom s teškoćama u razvoju iz spektra autizma, jer nema puno organiziranih programa za njih.
